Aurora, Utah - Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Margie Cox Brunson, age 90, died June 6, 2013 at her home in Aurora of causes incident to age. She was born February 19, 1923 in Orem, Utah, a daughter of Lawrence and Lynnette Huntsman Cox. She married Layton Earl Brunson, July 6, 1950 in Ely, Nevada. He died August 19, 2006. Margie was a member of the LDS Church, where she enjoyed being a Sunday School Teacher. Layton and Margie were Forster Parents for the State of Utah. Margie enjoyed gardening, but she always said her favorite hobby was spending time with her great-grandkids. She is survived by her children: Ilene Knudson and Nathan Brunson, both of Aurora; Christine Tucker and Lorena Cantillo, both of Riverside, California; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Vesta Worthington of Farmington; Elle Brown of Draper, Dean Cox of Nevada; Bud Cox of Oregon; and Marylee Jensen of California. She was preceded in death by two children: Lynnette Houston and Lee Earl Brunson; her husband, Layton; two brothers and one sister: Dan Cox, Jimmy Cox and Doreen Nielson. Grave side services will be held Monday, June 10, 2013 at 5:00 P.M. in the Orangeville Cemetery in Orangeville, Utah. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 150 East Main Street in Salina, Sunday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. Burial will be in the Orangeville Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
