Redmond, Utah - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Marie Fawn Lewis Hawkins, age 57, died November 8, 2010 at her home in Redmond, after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born October 7, 1953 in Salina, Utah, a daughter of Clarence and JoeLane Mary Peterson Lewis. She graduated from North Sevier High School, Class of 1971. She married Wayne Earl Hawkins, March 16, 1978 in Elko, Nevada. Marie worked as a waitress at Lambs Café in Salt Lake City for 8 years. She also worked at Mom’s Café in Salina for 19 years. She was a member of the LDS Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and doing crafts. She loved her grandkids and enjoyed doing things with them. Marie is survived by her loving husband, Wayne, of Redmond; her three daughters: Laura Painton of Magna; Angela and William Rademacher of Las Vegas, Nevada; Melanie and Everett Mangum of Salina; her six grandchildren: Zachery Seal, Jared Seal, Ryan Seal, Josh Painton, Trevor Mangum and Gracyn Rademacher; brother and sisters: Neil and Evette Lewis of Kearns; Jean and Teryle Nielsen of Mayfield; Elaine and Ron Buchner of Reno, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Lewis; her mother, JoeLane Peterson Lewis Chidester; her step-father, Orland Ray Chidester, and a sister, Marlene Thompson. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 12 Noon in the Redmond 1st LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Redmond Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
