Marilyn E. Tulin

Torrey, Utah - Marilyn E. Tulin, age 80, of Torrey, passed away March 21, 2016 at her home in Torrey. She was the loving Mother of 12 children from her first marriage. In 1980 she married the love of her life, Bill Tulin. They enjoyed many happy years together, sharing their skills and talents while building their home in Torrey. They also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Mom was able to share her special gifts and talents with our community for 10 years as the owner of Rumma'ge Creations Craft Store in Bicknell. Mom's legacy to her family was endurance without complaining and service to others. She taught us love for one another and what the true meaning of family is all about. Her example will be treasured by her family. Her handmade crochet and ceramic gifts will be treasured by her children and grandchildren for many years to come. Mom was very proud of all 12 of her children and their accomplishments in life. They are: Margaret and Terry, Monica and Don, Michael and Kris, Mark and Sue, Michelle and Joe, Malan and Trish, Monte and Terri, Melonie and Dennis, Matthew, Mignon and Merrill. She was also proud of and is survived by 40 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Brent Sovereen of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Tulin; a son, Mitchell McCubbin; her parents; a brother, Kent Sovereen; and grandchildren, Anthony and Rebecca. Mom, you will always be our inspiration and we love you with all our hearts. Thanks for all of your sacrifices, a loving home where everyone felt welcomed and for the life lessons you taught us all. Above all, thanks for teaching us about God's love for each other and other's that come in and out of our lives. You are missed! Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 12 Noon in the Grace Christian Church, 66 West Main Street in Torrey, Utah.
