Marion T. Adams

Monroe, Utah - Our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Marion Taylor Adams, age 88, died July 17, 2010 in Cedar City. He was born October 23, 1921 in Park City, Utah, a son of Orson William and Della Alpha Brundage Adams. Marion served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He married Claon Coleman, June 5, 1946 in Teasdale, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple January 27, 1955. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church. He worked for UDOT as a heavy equipment operator. Marion enjoyed being a farmer, raising a garden every year and hunting with his family. He is survived by his children: Orson Eldon Adams; Stan and Larene Adams, Janet and Mack Christensen; 32 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Claon; a daughter, Janice; his parents; two brothers and two sisters: Orson Adams; George Adams; Thelma Lucille McKinney and Della LaPreal Whitbeck. Private family services were held at the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
