Marlo Johnson

Redmond, Utah - Marlo Kent “Sam” Johnson, age 53 died at his home in Redmond on February 8, 2008. He was born October 8, 1954 in Salina, Utah, a son of J. Kent and Gayle Gillies Johnson. Marlo attended North Sevier High School and he was a member of the LDS Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses, dogs, and he enjoyed reading about the old west. He loved to go hunting geese with his dog Boo Ray. Marlo is survived by his sisters and brothers: Sandra and Jerald Nielson, Gayla and Raymond Farrington, Kelly and Valorie Johnson, all of Redmond and Clint Johnson of Salina. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 15, 2008 at 12 Noon in the Redmond LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may visit with the family from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Redmond Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
