Marrion Fortner

Torrey, Utah - Marrion Raemond Harvey Fortner, age 76, of Torrey, passed away October 24, 2014 in Provo, Utah. She was born February 3, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Raymond Marion and Thelma Louise Snow Harvey. She married Joseph Victor Fortner, October 22, 1954 in Midvale, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Marrion worked in the school lunch program and served in the Relief Society in the LDS Church. She enjoyed painting, camping, family gatherings and being around her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Joe, of Torrey; children: Joseph J. Fortner of Midvale; Kim V. and Gloria Fortner of West Jordan; Cindy J. and Chad Moon of Sandy; Colleen L. and Bill Dudleston of Torrey; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathy Byrd of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers and two sisters; two grandsons: Jeremiah Dudleston and Danny Dudleston. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 3, 2014 at 12 Noon in the Torrey LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may visit with the family from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Fremont Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
