Torrey, Utah - Martha Holt, wife of Keith Holt of Torrey, peacefully passed away on 14 January 2005 at her home, surrounded by some of her closest friends and family. Martha was best known for her loving kindness and giving ways and that gift of friendship was graciously returned to her by many in the community that came to visit her during her final days. Martha was a wonderful Mother to more children than most and leaves a long legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren scattered around the country. Martha was a fine musician and shared the universal language of music at many gatherings and cook outs at her home. As a tribute to the music she loved so much, many local musicians gathered at her son’s house to pass around her guitar and play songs she would have loved. Friends and family will gather together at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Friday, January 21, 2005 from 6 to 8 P.M. A visitation will be held at the Torrey LDS Ward on Saturday, January 22, 2005 from 11:00 to 12:30 P.M. and funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Martha’s family wished to send a sincere thanks to all who have been so kind and a big part of her life. “Forgive me oh Lord for all the little jokes I played on Thee, and I will forgive you for the big one you played on me.” Robert Frost.
