Martha Jean Henson

Richfield, Utah - Martha Jean Brozovich Henson, “The Cat Lady”, age 61, of Richfield, died February 21, 2006 in Provo, Utah. She was born March 14, 1944 in Tooele, Utah, a daughter of George Nick and Martha Jean Schoonover Brozovich. She married LeRoy Reid Henson, March 13, 1964 in Elko, Nevada. They were later divorced. Jean enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed crocheting. Jean loved cats and enjoyed taking care of them, and she was always willing to take in another stray. Jean was a caregiver and she enjoyed taking care of other people. She is survived by her children: Phill and Louise Henson of Richfield; Cindy and Preston Anderson of Salina; grandchildren: Keelie Anderson, Weston Anderson and Mickey Henson, all of Salina; Berry Farnsworth, Justin Farnsworth, Jeremy Farnsworth and Ben Redd, all of Richfield; great-grandchildren: Shynille Farnsworth, Brexten Farnsworth and Jralin Farnsworth, all of Richfield; Foster daughter: Angel and Harvey Miramontes and their children: Miguel, Victor, Sylvia, Gloria and Stella Miramontes, all of Joseph; brother and sister: Nick and Cheryl Brozovich of Tooele; Dolly Pitts of Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by her parents: George Nick Brozovich, Martha Jean and Ted Thetford; a son, Richard Paul Henson and two daughters: Julie Lynn Henson and Mickey Ann Henson. Graveside servcies will be held Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. in the Salina Eastside Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah. We, the family would like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses at Sevier Valley Hospital and Utah Valley Regional Medical Center for all they did for our mom while she was there. Also, a special thanks to family and friends that have helped the past 10 weeks thru this rough time. Thank you very much, the Anderson and Henson Family.
