Mary Ann Bjerregaard

Mayfield, Utah - Mary Ann Yardley Bjerregaard, 73, passed away at home on December 21, 2015. She was born November 14, 1942, to Thomas R. Yardley and Loa Edwards Yardley. Mary Ann grew up in Christenburg, Utah, on the family farm with seven siblings, Gene, Dorothy, Carol, Arlene, Clair, Elaine, and Diane. On June 1, 1961 she married Doug Bjerregaard in the Manti LDS Temple and they made their home in Mayfield, Utah. Their 53 years of marriage was one great adventure around the world and in Mayfield. Mary Ann was a leader in school, community and church. She will be remembered for her kindness, calm demeanor, and peaceful nature. She is survived by her husband Doug Bjerregaard, Mayfield, UT; mother-in-law Edna Bjerregaard, Mayfield, UT; children, John and Sheree Bjerregaard, South Weber, UT; Ann and Jed Dyreng, San Jose, CA; Barbara and Matt Parrott, South Jordan, UT; Karl and Callie Bjerregaard, Sandy, UT; and Lee and Malynda Bjerregaard, Mayfield UT; grandchildren, Stacey, Bryan, and James Bjerregaard; Sarah, Parker, and Thomas Dyreng; Josh, David, and Jack Parrott; Grace, Luke, and Bode Bjerregaard; Halle, Dylan, Sage and Emree Bjerregaard; siblings Gene and Anita Yardley, Christenburg, UT; Dorothy and ErlingGulbansen, Salt Lake City, UT; Carol (deceased) and Ira Malmgren, Grantsville, UT; Arlene and Bruce Bartholomew, Mayfield, UT; Clair (deceased) and Carla Yardley, Mapleton, UT; Elaine (deceased) and Alan Brewer, Salt Lake City, UT; and Diane and Darcy Duce, Newton, Alberta. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, and a granddaughter, Carly Dyreng. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Mayfield LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Sunday evening from 5 to 7 P.M. or Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Mayfield Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
