Annabella, Utah – Our beloved husband, daddy, uncle and friend, Matthew Ray Anderson, age 52, passed away on September 30, 2019 in Laramie, Wyoming as a result of a trucking accident. He was born September 16, 1967 in Burbank, California, a son of Donald Dean and Shirley May Lawrence Anderson. He graduated from Mingus High school in Cottonwood, Arizona, Class of 1986. Matthew married Elizabeth Ann Krueger in 1987 in Phoenix, Arizona. To this union were born a son, James and a daughter, Bobbiejo. They were later divorced. He married Renete Preiss May 1, 2003 in Richfield, Utah. To this union were born two daughters and three sons. Matt started driving truck for DP Curtis in 1997. He got his own truck in 2005 and continued driving long haul from Colorado to Utah to California. He moved to Elsinore in 1997 and in 2012, he and Renate and their family moved to Annabella. Matt enjoyed spending time with his family, coaching the family BMX Team, The Wild Bunch; going out shooting, riding his Harley, rebuilding a 1971 GMC and supporting his girls and boys in scouting. Matt is survived by his loving wife, Renate, his children: Savannah Anderson, Lukas Anderson, Clarissa Anderson, Amanda Anderson and Victoria Anderson, all of Annabella; James Anderson and Bobbiejo LaPrade and her two children: Dravon LaPrade and Cyrus LaPrade, all of Buckeye, Arizona. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Sheryl Ann Johnson. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Richfield. Burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
