Richfield, Utah - Our fun loving father, grandfather and brother, Max Ronald King, age 69, passed away January 26, 2005 in Richfield, Utah, of complications from a fall he suffered at Thanksgiving time. He was born May 11, 1935 in Circleville, Utah, a son of Ronald Lyman and Sylvia Mortenson King. He married Ula Talbot, July 2, 1957. Their marriage was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple April 20, 1963. They were later divorced. He married Dorothy Wilcox and later divorced. He married Utahna Brown and later divorced. Max was raised in Antimony with the mountains and country life he enjoyed most. He spent his life working in agriculture. He enjoyed this life and took great pride in what he did, but most of all he loved his family. His posterity will always treasure the memories shared with him. “God only takes the Best.” Max is survived by his children: Kent M. and Leiann P. King of Elsinore; Marlyn K. and Lance Nay of Richfield; Myron Allen of Henderson, NV; Melissa and Terry Peterson of Nephi; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Margie Carlson of Midvale. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Linda K. Allen; two sons, Douglas D. King and Ronald Brent King; a daughter-in-law, Laura McCormick King and a brother-in-law, Bill Carlson. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 31, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Sunday evening from 6 to 7 P.M. and Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
