She was born December 2, 1929 in Fremont, Utah, a daughter of Owen and Nola Ellett Albrecht. Millie was raised in Fremont. Her fondest memories were of picnics and fishing with her family. She married Barlow W. Pace, June 24, 1948 in Las Vegas, Nevada; later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple in 1955. Their marriage was a true partnership full of love for each other. They enjoyed 65 wonderful years together. Millie's greatest treasures were her eternal partner and their children. She exemplified the true virtues of a mother and wife. Her life was full of service, taking care of those she loved. Mom enjoyed participating in club, acting as DUP President of Camp Mauna Loa, and supporting Dad in his many endeavors. She took pleasure in her church callings, including Ward and Stake Primary President, Ward and Stake Relief Society Presidencies; Temple Ordinance Worker and many more. We all fondly remember her delicious meals, cinnamon rolls, raisin-filled cookies and apple pie. She always had a well kept home and a jar full of fresh baked cookies. The quilts she spent hours making are enjoyed by many. She shared her talents lovingly with her posterity. Millie will be remember for her compassion for others, her strong testimony and her love for her family. She "blessed all our hearts".
