Mya Denise Beach

December 27, 1966 — September 18, 2014

Salina, Utah - Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend Mya Denise Beach, age 47 of St. George returned to her heavenly father on September 18, 2014 in St. George, Utah surrounded by her family. She was born on December 27, 1966, a daughter of Richard Irving and LaPreal Mickelsen Cary in Everett, Washington. She attended Delta High School and graduated with the class of 1985. She married Steven DeLano Church in May of 1984. He died on May 15, 1993. Six years later she married Bryan Beach in May of 1999. They later divorced in 2012. Mya was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed the outdoors. She loved spending time in the mountains where she liked to hike, fish, hunt, and camp. She also enjoyed hunting for arrow heads. Mya's family was the center of her life. She adored her two boys and three girls. She also loved each of her children's spouses and she believed she had ten children rather than five. Yet beloved above all were her grandchildren. They were the true light of her life. She could be often found talking on the phone or on Face Time with them. She loved pictures, and took many selfies of her and her grandchildren together. She was a vibrant force in the life of her family and will be missed by all. "Shine Bright Like a Diamond... Forever!" She is survived by her sons: Nathon and Cassidy Church of Salina; Joe and Baylee Church of St. George; her daughters: Chelsea and Judd Williams of Salina; Brandy Beach and Terry Neizer of Redmond; Sierra and Darren Tackett of Redmond; her grandchildren: CaDance, LyRic, MeLody, and Kyzer Church; Jaxson Beach; Bryt'n, and Steffen Williams; Trinity Neizer; her sisters: Lissa Sorensen and Mark McFarland of St. George; Dixie and Kelly Bird of Lehi; her ex-husband Bryan Beach of Salina. She was proceeded in death by both of her parents; her grandson Deegan Gene Tackett. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, in the Salina Eastside Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing Tuesday morning from 10:00-11:30 A.M. prior to services in the Salina LDS Stake Center, located at 98 West 400 North in Salina, Utah. Services are under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
