Nadine M. Harter

Richfield, Utah - Our kind and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Nadine Mitchell Coleman Harter, age 89, passed away on Friday, December 5, 20 14 in Richfield, Utah, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 21, 1925 in North Little Rock, Arkansas, a daughter of Alfred Leeroy and Ollie Florence Boydstun Mitchell. She married Ellis Gleave Coleman, November 30, 1945 in Salinas, California. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Oakland LDS Temple. They were later divorced. He died January 22, 1977. She married John Bennett Harter, January 25, 2004 in Richfield, Utah. He died April 30, 2008. Nadine was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as a Visiting Teacher and in the Young Women's Presidency. She enjoyed doing genealogy, reading, doing crossword puzzles and gardening. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Richfield Care Center, nurses, staff and doctors, for all their love, help and support of our dear Mom and Grandma. She is survived by her daughter, Ellen C. and Robert (Bob) Row of Richfield; grandchildren: James Brian Daniels of Caldwell, Idaho; Michelle Daniels Standley of Richfield and Debbie Coleman of Reno, Nevada; 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a son, Ellis Gary and his wife, Jean Coleman; a sister, Claudine Bartlebaugh; a brother, Arliss Lee Mitchell and a granddaughter, Melanie Layton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 12:00 Noon in the Richfield East LDS Stake Center, 805 North 500 East in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Elsinore City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
