Nancy Hopfenbeck

Axtell, Utah - Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Nancy Ann Crowe Hopfenbeck, age 72, of Axtell, passed from this life on October 18, 2015 in Centerfield, Utah. She was born January 20, 1943 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Aaron Bill and Molly Marguriet White Crowe. She married Clyde Franklin Conley, August 18, 1960 in Brigham City, Utah. They were later divorced. She married Ronald Shand Hopfenbeck, August 20 1965 in Ogden, Utah. He died November 22, 1997. Nancy worked as a courier for the Gunnison Prison for 14 years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, knitting, doing cross stitch, making jewelry, reading and gardening. She loved dogs and enjoyed all animals. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Corinne Sue, and her husband, Wallace B. Curtis of Sigurd; grandchildren: Brandon T. Clark of Texas; Kevan R. Clark of Salt Lake City; John F. and Lindsey Clark of Tooele; Michael S. and Phalicia Clark of Sigurd; great-grandsons: James T. Clark and Andrew W. Clark, both of Tooele; and Mason S. Clark of Sigurd; a sister: Anita Margurite Oldfield of Ridgecrest, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Shand Hopfenbeck; her parents, Molly Margurite White and Aaron Bill Crowe; and a sister, Sheila L. Crowe. Memorial services will be held at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
