Nancy J. Baker

Richfield, Utah - Nancy Jeanne Miller Droubay Baker, age 87, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully June 6, 2019 in Richfield, surrounded by her family. She was born February 19, 1932 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Herald George and Merry Echo Briggs Miller. She married John Richard Droubay July 1, 1950 in Boise, Idaho. He died November 8, 1969. She married LaRell Mecham "Mel" Baker August 18, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He died November 24, 2014. Mom was an example of humility, happiness, kindness and love to her family and friends, she will be dearly missed, by all. She is survived by her children: Christine and Jim Schoonover, Richard Droubay, Julie Droubay and Brad Baker; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings: Lynda DuRan, Martene and Randy Pearson, George and Marine Miller. She is preceded in death by her father, Herald G. Miller; her mother, Merry Echo Kalawaia, and both of her husbands. Per Mom’s wishes, a private family service will be held on Thursday June 13, 2019 in the Salt Lake City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
