Joseph, Utah - Nashelle Hosteenez, age 27, a resident of Joseph, Utah, passed away early Saturday morning, February 10, 2007 at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, after battling with heart complications for many years. Nashelle was born in the Tuba City Hospital in Tuba City, Arizona, on October 18, 1979 to Robert and Rosabelle "Rose" Kelly Hosteenez. She was the second of two children. Nashelle was a loving and patient mother, as well as a loving daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter and cousin. Her favorite sport was tennis and she went to state four years in a row and took second and third, two different years. She endured through four open heart operations and a life time of diabetes. Even through these hard times, she always put trust and faith in God. Nashelle is survived by her son, Sander Taylor Hosteenez; her father and step-mother: Robert and Tamara Hosteenez; her older sister, Valerie Raine Hosteenez; aunts and uncles: Tom and Verla Irene Hosteenez; Tsosie and Christina Lee Hosteenez; as well as many other uncles, aunts, cousins; her loving grandparents, Peter and Lillie Yazzie Hosteenez, who love her as a daughter and a sister. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosabelle "Rose" Kelly Hosteenez. Nashelle will be missed by all who knew and loves her. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 16, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the Joseph LDS Ward Chapel in Elsinore, where friends may call for viewing Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
