Nathan Bryant

January 10, 1971 — April 20, 2023

Our loving husband, father, grandfather and son, Nathan Bryant, age 52, passed away April 20, 2023, at his home in Richfield, of complications from diabetes, a disease that he fought his entire life. He was born January 10, 1971, in American Fork, Utah, a son of William David Dale Cullen and Janice LaRae Huntsman Bryant. He grew up in Pleasant Grove and graduated from high school. He attended Snow College in Richfield for a while.


Nathan is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony of the Savior, Jesus Christ.


He met and married Jenny Rebecca Hodson August 10, 2011, in St. George, Utah.

Nathan worked at many youth treatment facilities throughout state and really enjoyed helping the boys that he met there. He was a great mentor for them.


He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening. He like to crochet, make paracord bracelets and dream catchers.


Nathan will be greatly missed by all who knew him.


He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny, of Richfield; his mother, LaRae Bryant of Richfield; a sister, April Bryant of St. George; his children: Nathan R.C. and Shantell Bryant of Pleasant Grove; Kendra and Kyle Wilson of Veyo; Frankie and Kylie Steele of West Jordan; Jazmyne and Nathan Williams, Annie and John Miller, all of Eagle Mountain; step-children: Kaitlyn and Tyler Layton of Delta; Dillon Wood, William and Kinzie Wood, and Megan Wood, all of Nephi; 20 grandchildren; his mother-in-law: Laura Hodson of Magna.


He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Bryant; his father-in-law: Robert Hodson; and three stepsons: Jason Mitchell, Michael Anthony, and Alexander Jeffery Wood.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 12 Noon in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services.

Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
