Neoma B. Fordham

Salina, Utah - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Neoma Berneice Yaerger Fordham, age 78, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 in Provo, Utah of complications from pneumonia after suffering a heart attack in December. She was born July 3, 1939 in Paris, Arkansas a daughter of Presley William and Ora Ivory Keith Yaerger. She married Robert Allen Hildebrandt December 10, 1954 in Arizona. They had three children and were later divorced. She married David Ray Fordham January 3, 1982 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Neoma was a member of the LDS Church where she served as a Primary Teacher. She and Dave were the owners and operators of Dave's Country Trading Post in Sigurd for the past 30+ years. They met many interesting people, cooking them breakfast and lunch at the Trading Post, listening to their hunting and fishing stories and bs-ing with them in general. Neoma enjoyed gardening, jewelry making, rock collecting, fishing, camping and hunting. She is survived by her husband, Dave, of Salina; children: Vickie and Jeff Stithem of Salina; Robert Allen and Joanne Hildebrandt of Washington City, Utah; Eric and Susan Hildebrandt of Spirit Lake, Idaho; step-children: Wendy Fordham and Shane Fordham; 11 grandchildren: Cristopher and Deb Hare, Dana and Kellie Hare, Angela Carter, Zachary Stithem, Courtney and Kyle Keller, Melissa and Jacob Terry, Eric and Cody Duncan, Jacob and Arlee Hildebrandt, Timothy and Andrea Hildebrandt, Joseph Hildebrandt and Amy Hildebrandt; 16 great-grandchildren: Heather, Shay, Fiona, Devri, Macardi, Elexia, Kamryn, Sasha, Harlee, Oliver, Presley, Hunter, Calvin, Beatrice, Omry Robert and one on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Ora Mae, John and Sarah Yaerger. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Salina LDS Stake Center, 98 West 400 North in Salina. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or at the Stake Center Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Pioneer Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
