Herriman, Utah – Our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, Kimberly Nicole “Nikki” Robinson Cox, age 52, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children on November 21, 2022, in Salt Lake City. Nikki was born September 10, 1970, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Clayton Heber “CH” and Phyllis Ann Chappell Robinson. She graduated from Taylorsville High School, Class of ’88.
Nikki married Justin Sean Cox March 25, 1994, in Taylorsville. Their marriage was solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple March 25, 1999. To this union was born four children. Justin passed away March 9, 2017.
Nikki is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was involved with numerous church activities and callings, including Young Women, Primary, Nursery and Athletics.
Nikki was kind and generous and was always serving and looking out for others. She had a great sense of humor and was always fun to be around. She had a huge heart and loved deeply.
She worked as an auditor for the State of Utah for over 25 years. She loved her job and her many co-workers and friends she made along the way.
Nikki loved the outdoors and spent a lot of her time at Fish Lake, camping and fishing with her family. She also loved to attend her kids’ sports, hobbies, and activities. She also loved to read, dance, play games and solve puzzles.
Nikki will be greatly missed and is survived by her parents, CH and Phyllis Robinson of Herriman; children: Carli and Brady Heninger of Saratoga Springs; Joshua Cox, Jace Cox and Maggi Cox, all of Herriman; her two grandchildren: Eden and Elenor Heninger of Saratoga Springs; her siblings: Rodney and Megan Robinson of Centennial, Colorado; Melanie and Wayne Merrill of St. George.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 12 Noon in the Summit Ridge LDS Ward Chapel, 14550 South Juniper Crest Road in Herriman, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services.
Graveside services and burial will be held on Monday, November 29, 2022 at 12 Noon in the Lyman, Utah Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
