Richfield, Utah – Our beloved son, brother and uncle, Nikolas Warren Monroe, age 37, passed away October 22, 2021 in Murray of complications from COVID. He was born October 22, 1984 in Nephi, a son of George Warren and Shelly Dee Shields Monroe. Nikolas was a loyal friend and loving brother. His hobbies were Online Computer Gaming, reading and meeting people around the world. He loved music, loved learning and had an intelligent sense of humor. He was so laid back he was horizontal. He really enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was always there for them if they needed help. He enjoyed life and loved being at home. He had a contagious giggle and will be greatly missed. Nikolas is survived by his parents of Monroe; siblings: Maggie Monroe of Bountiful; Abbey and Adam Swift of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Katie and Nelson Ha’o of Monroe; Dayna Monroe of Denver, Colorado; Josie Monroe of Richfield and Ethan Monroe on Monroe; and 3 nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: J.L. and May C. Shields; Dix L. Monroe, Joyce B. Monroe and step-grandmother, Georgia R. Monroe. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 12 Noon in the Monroe LDS Stake Center, 140 South Main Street in Monroe, where friends may call for viewing Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
