Nina Valadez

Loa, Utah - Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, Enedina Garza Valadez, age 90, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 in Loa, Utah. She was born February 8, 1925 in Pharr, Texas, a daughter of Manuel and Julia Villareal Garza. She married Noe Valadez, May 15, 1948 in McAllen, Texas. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple. Noe died September 17, 1994. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in the Relief Society and Primary. She enjoyed reading, doing word search and playing games. Nina is survived by her children: Noe and Melody Valadez of Morgan Hills, California; Mary and Stephen Ellett of Bicknell, Utah; Rosa and Dusty Weathers of Farmington, New Mexico; Juan and Sandra Valadez of Arlington, Texas; Mirta Rangel of Lubbock, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noe Valadez; two infant daughters: Bertha Alicia; her parents; brothers and sisters: Pablo, Julian, Manuel, Eduardo, Dolores and Isabel; and a grandson: Ernesto Ortega. Graveside services will be held Friday, December 11, 2015 at 2:30 P.M. in the Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow, Texas.
