Monroe, Utah – Nola Marie Holt Chamberlain, age 75, passed away March 6, 2025, at her home in Monroe, Utah.
She was born August 18, 1949, in Richfield, Utah, a daughter of James Derrell and Nola Dean Keeler Tolley Holt. Marie grew up with a love for learning and an appreciation for the beauty of the world around her. She graduated from Richfield High School and pursued a career in cosmetology. However, after developing allergies to hair products, she transitioned into sales, where she found great success in both car and insurance sales. Throughout her life, she continued to take courses that piqued her interest, particularly those related to photography—a passion she deeply enjoyed.
Marie had a keen eye for beauty, whether through the lens of her camera or in the treasures she discovered while antiquing. She found solace in nature, whether exploring tidal pools at the beach or taking in the serenity of a mountain meadow. She especially cherished quiet moments accompanied by the songs of birds. Her love for animals was evident in the care and devotion she showed them throughout her life.
She is survived by her children: Michele (Dale) Werner, Kevin (Bethany) Chamberlain, and Darrin (Amy) Chamberlain; her grandchildren: Bradley Chamberlain, Aaron Chamberlain, Dylan Chamberlain, Craig Chamberlain, Kellie Taylor, Astrid Chamberlain (Morgan Chamberlain), Kaitlyn Chamberlain, Bryce Thieme and Dallas Chamberlain; and her great-grandchildren: Eris Lloyd, Zagan Lloyd, and Blake Chamberlain. She is also survived by her siblings: Wayne (Janet) Holt and Sandy (Jim) Roberts.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents, James Derrell and Nola Dean Holt.
