Norma P. Robinson

December 18, 1927 — December 29, 2006

Salina, Utah - Our sweet, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Norma Lee Peterson Robinson died December 29, 2006 as a result of Alzheimer’s disease, surrounded by her family. Norma Lee was born December 18, 1927 in Salina, Utah, a daughter of Lars Peter and Lydia Elizabeth Fenn Peterson. She was the seventh of nine children. She was 15 minutes older than her fraternal twin, Naoma Vee. Norma married Art J. Robinson, December 2, 1950 in Pioche, Nevada. They are the parents of five children. She was a devoted and loving wife. Norma diligently served the Relief Society, always helping with the Election day Bazarr and Dinner. She was dedicated to the luncheon committee for numerous funerals. She found joy in spending time with her family and friends, traveling, ladies birthday bunch, life-long friendships, adventures to her cabin at Accord Lake, and Christmas Eve parties. Her hobbies included tying quilts, hand embroidering, reading, cross word puzzles and picture puzzles. Norma is survived by her children: Lorraine and Steve Smith; Scott J and Cindy Robinson, Peggy and Gary Harrison, Kim and Darlene Robinson, Lee A. and Jamie Robinson; 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Naoma Rasmussen, brother, Wallace and Janeil Peterson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Art; grandson, Ryan; parents; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 12 Noon in the Salina LDS Stake Center, 98 West 400 North in Salina, where friends may call for viewing Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah. The family wishes to express deepest thanks to Sevier Valley Hospital, Curtis Assisted Living, Richfield Rehabilitation and Care Center and all the staff who loving cared for Norma. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Curtis Assisted Living, 189 East Center Street in Glenwood, Utah 84730, in Norma’s name
