Norma S. Taylor

Magna/Mayfield, Utah - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Norma Sorensen Taylor, age 58, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, March 6, 2006 in West Valley City. She was born June 1, 1947 in Gunnison, Utah, a daughter of Horace A. and Afton Christensen Sorensen. She graduated from Gunnison High School, Class of 1965. She married Lex Clifford Taylor, August 24, 1968 in the Manti LDS Temple. Norma is survived by her husband of Magna; children: Scot and Cheryl Taylor of West Jordan; and their children: Ashley, Alex and Zachary Taylor; Marinda and Greg Neerings of Salt Lake City, and their soon to be baby; brothers and sister: Harvey and Patti Sorensen, Phillip Sorensen, all of Mayfield; JoAnn and Steve Otten of Manti. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 9, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the Lakeridge 9th LDS Ward Chapel, located at 7825 West Sharon Drive in Magna, where friends may call for viewing Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and again Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Grave side services and burial will be Thursday afternoon at 4:00 P.M. in the Mayfield Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
