Novella Siebert Mulford

October 5, 1920 — April 20, 2011

Richfield, Utah - On April 20, 2011, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Novella Curtis Siebert Mulford, age 90, left this earth and returned back to Heaven. Mom was surrounded by her four children at her home when she took her last breath. Mom put up a great fight until the end. She died in peace and is most likely up in Heaven, dancing and singing up a storm. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. Mom had a contagious laugh and always made you smile. Novella was born October 5, 1920 in Torrey, Utah, a daughter of Miland and Mary Ann Hunt Curtis. She graduated from Wayne High School, Class of 1937. She attended Southern Utah State College in Cedar City, where she graduated from Nursing School. She married John (Jack) Siebert, January 23, 1941 in Torrey, Utah. He died May 1, 1964. Their marriage was solemnize in the Manti LDS Temple October 30, 1965. She later married C. LaMar Mulford, February 4, 1972 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He died February 3, 2005. Mom was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as past president of the Relief Society, Visiting Teacher and Visiting Teaching Supervisor. She was active in 4-H and was an Election Administrator. She enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. She also made afghans for all 16 great-grandchildren. Novella worked as an LPN at Sevier Valley Hospital and after her retirement, she was the Wayne County Public Health Nurse for several years. Mom had so many family and friends that we can't mention them all. She loved all of you so much. As a family, we feel that we were so lucky to have an angel walk with us during our life's journey. We want to give a special thank you to the Stone Henge Rehabilitation Center for all their tender, loving care when mom fell and needed help, back in September 2010. We really want to thank the IHC Hospice Team. They came to us in our hours of need and stayed with us until the end. We want to give LaNeeta Sudweeks, the biggest thanks of all. She is survived by her children: Audrey and Wendell Nielson of Las Vegas, Nevada; Carol Jean (Jeanne) and Evan Emett of Richfield; Larry John (Johnny) and Marcia Siebert of Montgomery, Texas; Mary Ann Siebert of Richfield; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, Yvonne Bagley of Koosharem. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; five brothers and three sisters: Rodney Curtis, Gerald Curtis, Bud Curtis, Deloyd Curtis, Volley Curtis, Della Mulford, LaDelpha Rich and Iola May Curtis.
