Pat Van Dam

Redmond, Utah - Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Patricia Winget Van Dam, age 72, passed away at her home in Redmond, August 10, 2016, , due to complications from cancer. She was born September 26, 1943 in Monroe, Utah, a daughter of Elmer DeVere and Dorothy Mae Emerson Winget. She graduated from South Sevier High School, Class of 1961 and then attended LDS Business College. Pat enjoyed her gardens and ponds and would spend many hours working on them in her yard. She love to spend time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She is survived by her children: Gary Edward Van Dam of West Jordan and Jodie Kae Perkins of Sandy; grandchildren: Tierza Bree Van Dam, Anthony Stingray Van Dam, Chad Edward Lenz, Ryan Cameron Lenz, Kurt John Perkins and Tyler Jay Perkins; three sisters: Tanya DeAnn Morrill of Las Vegas, Nevada; Mikki Rae Mickelsen of Redmond and Sandra Dee Long of Graeagle, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and two sisters: Bruce Spencer Winget, Linda "Bunny" Johnson and Peggy Brohm; and two nephews: Cody L Mickelsen and David D. Winget. Services for Pat will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the family home in Redmond, 325 North 100 West. There will be a toasting hour from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M. and Candle Lighting at dusk. Please come and share you stories and fond memories of our dear Mother and Sister.
