Patti J Encinas

Elsinore, Utah - Patricia Joan Burt Encinas, “Patti J.” age 74, of Elsinore, died July 3, 2010 in Richfield, of complications from surgery. She was born November 30, 1935 in Los Angeles, California, a daughter and only child of Clyde R. and Edith Johnson Burt. She graduated from Van Nuys High School, Class of 1952. After Patti graduated Van Nuys High School she married her high school sweetheart Robert (Bob) Johnson. They later divorced. Patti worked for Columbia Records, RCA Records, Paramount Studios and LFP Inc., Her volunteer activities included being a Junior Hostess at the Hollywood USO from 1955 to 1958. Her true passion as a volunteer was with FILMEX Society and eventually she became a full-time employee there. She married Michael Pappas and they were later divorced. She married Jose Franco Encinas, August 12, 1989 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Patti later worked as a Private Investigator. After moving to Elsinore, she worked as a partner for the animal shelter in Aurora. She loved to do genealogy, crochet and was very skilled on the computer. She worked at home for various companies, doing computer work. She is survived by her husband, Jose, of Elsinore. She also is survived by one aunt, Margaret Johnson of Sandy; and several cousins: Gwendolyn Jacobsen and Chet Johnson, both of Elsinore, Jerrilyn Davis of Annabella, Sharon Holgate of Bakersfield, CA, Annette Niksich of Midvale, Marilyn Houmand and Linda Whitman, both of Sandy, and Elvonna Brown of Ojai, California. Grave side services will be held Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. in the Elsinore Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
