Paul Christensen

Richfield, Utah - Leonard Paul "Colby" Christensen, age 70, died April 16, 2014 in Richfield, Utah. He was born October 3, 1943 in Richfield, a son of Boyd Leonard and Vonola Fairbanks Christensen. He graduated from Richfield High School, Class of 1961 and then attended College of Southern Utah in Cedar City. Paul married Deborah Jane Apple, November 18, 1978 in Evansville, Indiana. They were later divorced. Paul was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he helped in the Cub Scouting Program. Paul enjoyed making pottery, welding, reloading, family history and traveling. He is survived by his son, Benjamin Paul Christensen of Richfield; brother: Bradley F. and Tonya Christensen of Richfield; sister-in-law: Kathy P. Christensen of Richfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd L. and Vonola Christensen; and a brother, Jeffrey Boyd Christensen. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 12 Noon in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Richfield, where friends may visit with the family one and a half hours prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
