Pauline Davis Hardy

July 25, 1929 — September 4, 2015

Salina, Utah - Our warm and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Pauline Davis Hardy, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2015 in Salina, Utah at her home with her family by her side. She was born July 25, 1929 in Layton, Utah. A daughter of Oliver Paul and May Davis. She married her sweetheart, Robert Hardy June 24, 1955 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Pauline was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served in many callings including Second Counselor in the Stake Relief Society, Relief Society President, Primary President, and many more. She served her Heavenly Father honorably. Her passions in life were sewing, quilting, crocheting, knitting, and genealogy. She also enjoyed singing in the church choir, and performing compassionate service. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Hardy of Salina; her daughters: Laura (Rocky) Williams of Salina; Cindy (Gregory) Noyes of West Jordan; Heather (Jeremy) Durrant of Payson; her sons: Robert Bubba Hardy of Henderson, Nevada; Gregory (Pris) Hardy of Clinton; Douglas John Hardy of Las Vegas, Nevada; Blain (Gwenaley) Hardy of Ephraim; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren who were the light of her life; a brother Warren (Laurette) Davis of Riverton; many sister-in-laws, brother-in laws, and nieces and nephews. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Shirlene Hardy; a son-in-law Gregory Noyes; 4 brothers: Robert, Vaughen, Mick, and Thomas Davis; a sister Carolyn Davis. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery 6500 Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends may call for viewing 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 150 East Main, Salina, Utah. Services are under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina.
