Phyllis H. Roberts

Redmond, Utah - Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Phyllis Hansen Roberts, age 89, died September 26, 2004 in Gunnison, Utah. She was born January 2, 1915 in Elsinore, Utah, a daughter of James Peter and Josephine Jacobson Hansen. She married Deloy Roberts, September 11, 1930 in Junction, Utah. He died June 13, 1982. She lived in Redmond, Utah and was a member of the LDS Church. Phyllis is survived by her children: James D. Roberts of Georgia; Ray and Chery Roberts of Salina; Blaine and Nalin Roberts of Magna; Linda and Dennis Helms of Jasper, Alabama; 29 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; 30 plus great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Irene Christensen of Richfield. She was preceded in death by her husband; four sons: Calvin D. Roberts, Norman Roy Roberts, Connie (Con) Roberts and Larry Roberts; five brothers and one sister: Earl Hansen, Keith Hansen, Frank Hansen, Chris Hansen, Calvin Hansen and Janice Jackson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 2, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West, in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 11:00 to12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
