Our loving son, husband, father, brother, grandpa, uncle and friend, Raymond Morgan Busk, passed from this life on February 13, 2021, after a long month fighting covid-19. Born August 16, 1969 to John Morgan and Ruth Evans Busk, he was the oldest of 9 children and worked hard to earn the title of “big brother” by caring for his younger siblings even into adulthood. After his mother passed in 1985, he was blessed with a bonus mom, Marsha Norby Busk. Raymond was married 9 years to Jennifer Jolley Busk. He loved being a father to his beautiful children Chelsea (Jared), Jordan (Cheyenne), Oakley (Lainey), Colter, Bryndee and Cheyenne. They were his greatest joy. He was so proud to watch them grow, compete and accomplish their goals. The experience of fatherhood was only eclipsed by becoming a grandpa to Myer Leatham and then River Cowles. He began learning his skillful trade in building from his Grandpa Busk and his Dad at a young age. Evidence of his craftsmanship can be seen all over Utah. He was proud to be an Eagle Scout and his talents in art, mechanics, athletics, and love of the outdoors have carried over to his children. He was the definition of tough and was able to use this to serve others every chance he got. He greeted everyone he knew with a friendly hello, a contagious smile and left them feeling loved and important. He never missed an opportunity to sincerely say the words, “I love you” to those he cared for. Raymond was preceded in death by his faithful companion Lou-Dog who had more lives than a litter of kittens. For 22 years, it was uncommon to see them apart. Other loved ones who greeted him into heaven were his loving Mother, Ruth Evans Busk, maternal grandparents, Max and Helen Evans, and paternal grandparents, Jewel and Carol Busk. He is survived by his wife Jennifer Jolley Busk, all of his children and 2 grandchildren with one more on the way. His parents Morgan and Marsha Busk, siblings Regina Barton (James), Robyn Lloyd (Trent), Randa Morgan (Clay), John Ryan Busk (Brittany), Rachel Barney (Brandon), Roxanna Christensen (Kacey), Rhett Busk (Megan) and Raelee Busk. Also, his many adoring nieces and nephews. He will be laid to rest February 19, 2021 in the Richfield Cemetery near his mother. Due to covid-19 the funeral will be held for immediate family only.
