Reed J Peterson

Salina, Utah - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, Reed J. Peterson, age 62, died January 28, 2013 at his home west of Salina. He was born December 19, 1950 in Salina, a son of Thad Reed and Twilla Christenson Peterson. He graduated from North Sevier High School, Class of 1969. He attended college in Cedar City. Reed married Connie Steele in November of 1971 in Salina. They were later divorced. He married Sheradeen Ranae Eden, October 12, 1992 on the family farm, west of Salina. Reed was a farmer and a mechanic. He enjoyed horse back riding, farming, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Sheradeen of Salina; children: Jeremy Peterson, Brickell and Kevin Johnson, all of Salina; Sam and Candy Bates of Aurora; Meriah and Jered Harper of Corinne; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; his mother, Twilla Peterson of Salina; two sisters: Connie Hyatt of Price and Kathleen Thompson of Salt Lake City. He is preceded in death by his father, Thad Peterson, and a daughter, Tina Bates. A celebration in honor of his life will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, where friends may visit with the family from 12 Noon to 2:00 P.M. Cremation services have been held and burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
