Revoe Moss

October 20, 1931 — October 14, 2021

Richfield, Utah – Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Venna Revoe Nay Moss, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Richfield on October 14, 2021. She was born October 20, 1931 in Kingston, a daughter of William Levi and Mary Venna Sherman Nay. She graduated from Richfield High School, Class of 1950. She attended Utah State University in Logan. Revoe married Melvin Colby February 20, 1950 in Ely, Nevada and they were later divorced. She married William Cleaveland October 12, 1957 in Sigurd and they were later divorced. She married Edward Ruben Moss August 24, 1979 in the Manti LDS Temple. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt lake LDS Temple June 10, 1981. Ed preceded her in death June 24, 2021. Revoe is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as a Cub Scout leader and Relief Society Teacher. She is a member of the Daughters of the Utah PIoneers Camp Red Hills of Richfield. In her younger years she enjoyed hunting. She loved fishing, hiking, traveling through the United States and Germany with Ed. She especially loved traveling to Lubbock, Texas to spend time with her daughter, Ruth and husband, Merlin. She enjoyed making quilts for her family. Revoe is survived by her children: Lewis and Carolyn Cleaveland of West Valley City; Richard Cleaveland of Clinton; Alma Cleaveland of Cedar City; Aaron Cleaveland of Richfield; Ed and Ineke Moss of Germany; Sandy and Stan Fifield of Brigham City; Ruth and Merlin Angle of Lubbock, Texas; Teresa and Troy Singleton of Evansville, Wyoming; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her children: Krystal Elaine Moss, Eileen Wadsworth, Joseph Cleaveland; her parents, and siblings: Sherman L. Nay, Clarence Albey Nay, Mateland D. Nay, Devon R. Nay, Deward L. Nay, Leland R. Nay and step-brother, Arnold Austin. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 12 Noon in the Richfield 7th LDS Ward Chapel, 159 North 400 West in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
