Rich D. Fisher

January 20, 1933 — January 29, 2010

Teasdale, Utah - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Rich D. Fisher, age 77, died January 29, 2010 at his home in Teasdale, after a valiant battle with emphysema. He was born January 20, 1933 in Hibbard, Idaho, a son of Joseph William and Maude Lucinda Dodge Fisher. He graduated from Madison High School, Class of 1951. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Rich married Rayola Weber, January 19, 1958 in Rexburg, Idaho. They were later divorced. He married Yvonne Jacobson Dean, May 2, 1970 in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, September 19, 2000. Rich was active in the LDS Church, where he served in several different callings. He enjoyed traveling and camping. He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne, of Teasdale; a daughter, Susan Nadar of Yellow Pine, Idaho; step-children: David and Lisa Dean of Springville; Diana and Doug Walters of Orem; Connie Jansen of Teasdale; 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother: Joseph Henry (deceased) and Janet Fisher of Newton, Utah; Gail Dodge (deceased) and Norma Fisher, Jay Leon and Maxine Fisher, all of San Mateo, California. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Sandra Fisher. Grave side services will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the Teasdale Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Harold Brown American Legion Post #92 and under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
