Richard A, Jensen

Murray/Monroe, Utah - Richard passed away April 18, 2012. He was born January 10, 1949 in Richfield, Utah, a son of Lee Elijah and Susie Bohman Jensen. He graduated from South Sevier High School and attended SUSC and BYU. Richard married Mary Kay Pearson, July 26, 1968 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they had three daughters; Stephanie, Holly, and Kristine. Our cute Dad’s love for life, positive attitude, tremendous wisdom, sense of humor, and infectious smile are priceless memories that will always be with us. He cherished his hunting trips, being in nature, his precious daughters and Monroe. He shared with us his great love for life, his ability to fix anything, and his selfless attitude for everyone and everything. He gave and gave and gave. Now his tender giving heart has finally given out. He is survived by his three daughters, Stephanie, Holly (Tyler), and Kristine (Gordon); brother Jerald (Pat), sisters Carolin and Peggy (Vernon), sister-in-law: Linda. Grandchildren: Brenlie, Mikell, Lauren, Kali, Justin, Kaden, and Gordy. Preceded in death by his father Lee, mother Susie, two brothers, David and James, and grandson Zach. We love you our cutest ever Dad, but oh we will miss you. Keep smiling!! Funeral services will be held Monday, April 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Funeral Home Chapel, 1007 West South Jordan Parkway (10600 South), where friends may visit with the family Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be Monday afternoon at 4:00 P.M. in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
