Monroe, Utah - Rile Dutton, age 83, of Monroe, slipped quietly away on June 3, 2015, in Richfield, Utah, surrounded by his family. He was born October 30, 1931 in Cannonville, a son of William Henry and Lily Francis Mangum Dutton. He served his country from 1953 to 1954 during the Korean Conflict in the United States Army. Rile married Ruth Talbot, July 19, 1955 in Fredonia, Arizona. They were later divorced. He married Margaret June Peer, February 4, 1978 in Fredonia, Arizona. She died January 21, 2005. Rile worked as a hard rock miner, a farmer, worked in the timber and at Sevier Valley Trade Tech. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding horses. He was an avid arrowhead hunter and enjoyed cutting rocks and making belt buckles and jewelry. Rile enjoyed visiting with people and never met a stranger. He will be missed by his family and all that knew him. He is survived by his children: Darlene and Randy Syddall of Monroe; Robert Blaine Dutton of Joseph; Dwayne R. Dutton; Tom and Ester Stanworth of Delta; Jimmy and Terry Stanworth of Oasis; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; a sister, Nina Willden of Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, June; two daughters, Lola Marie Stanworth and Tamera Kaye Stansworth Notestine; 8 siblings: Leo, Doyle, Newell, Dean, Terry, Arma, Annie and Nola. Grave side services will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 12 Noon in the Oasis Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. Burial with military honors accorded by the Millard American Legion Post #135 will be in the Oasis Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
