Robert Levere Gleave

February 5, 1943 — June 11, 2021

Lindon - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Robert Levere Gleave, age 78 passed away June 11, 2021 in American Fork, Utah. He was born in Payson, Utah on Feb 5, 1943 to Marcus Earl and Marguerite Nielsen Gleave. He had fond memories of growing up in Payson and loved the family farm on West Mountain. He attended Payson High School and graduated with the class of 1961. Robert married Joleen Topham Gleave in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 18, 1963. They were married for 42 years and raised 4 children together. They divorced in 2004. He married Kishmielle Anderson Gleave on January 17, 2006 in Bluffdale, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized on September 1, 2007 in the Mt. Timpanogos LDS Temple. They were together until Robert’s passing. Robert was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was known for his sense of humor and he was constantly teasing and playing tricks. Many knew him by his nicknames: Mountain Man, Joe, and Bob. He loved being outside, and enjoyed and particularly loved the area around Garfield County. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, and ride horses. His greatest love and his most important priority was his family. They love him and will miss him dearly. Robert is survived by his wife, Kishmielle, his children: Robert Michael (Shelley) Gleave of Stansbury Park; Tracy Rollins of Pheonix, Arizona; Christina (Michon) Johnson of Salt Lake City, Preston (Amber) Gleave of Price; his siblings: Calvin (Barbara) Gleave of Antimony; Charleen (Larry) Strange of Arizona City, Arizona; Chaunna (Mike) Zimonja of Mesa, Arizona; Karen (Van) Hansen of Sandy; Julie (Jim) Walker of Helper; his stepchildren: Clinton L. Ericksen; Cody (Tasha) Ericksen; Tony (Monica) Ericksen; Kenneth (Miranda) Ericksen; Dustin (Sarah) Ericksen; Windy (John) Houser. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Marcus Earl and Marguerite Nielsen Gleave. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 A.M., Monday, June 21, 2021 in the Antimony LDS Ward Chapel, Antimony, Utah. Friends and family may attend the viewing from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. prior to services. Burial will be in the Widstoe Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
