Richfield, Utah - Rockne "Rocky" Nolan Lee, age 63, of Richfield, returned home to his Heavenly Father on May 29, 2015 in Provo, Utah. He will be missed by his loving wife of 42 years, Marlene; and his sons, Rockne and Russel. His daughter, Roxanne, stood waiting to embrace him when he returned to his eternal home. Rocky was born August 17, 1951 in San Diego, California, a son of Kenneth Alba and Nelda Shirley Looke Lee. While growing up, Rocky moved with his family all over the United States as the result of his father serving in the United States Navy. After graduating from San Gorgonia High School in 1969, Rocky also joined the US Navy. When he was discharged from the Navy, he moved to Corona, California, where he met his future wife, Marlene. They were married February 14, 1973 in Corona. Their marriage was solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple, November 15, 1977. Rocky worked for Hughes Aircraft, which later became Raytheon, for 35 years, retiring in 2006, due to illness. While working, Rocky was asked to travel and work all over the world. This allowed him and his family to enjoy many different cultures and to experience and share the gospel within those cultures. Rocky was a great lover of the youth of the church. He served as a Seminary Teacher for years, while also serving in the BSA and at the Norco Prison. Rocky was a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. He served as a Scout Master for many years, teaching the young men not only the skills of scouting, but also that they can live the gospel in all aspects of their lives. He will be missed by all those who knew him. Rocky is survived by his loving wife, Marlene, of Richfield; his two sons: Rockne Aaron Lee of Norco, California; Russel Abraham Lee of Richfield; his three brothers and one sister: Craig Lee of Alexandria, Virginia; Mark Lee of Portland, Oregon; Shayne and Barbara Lee, Cindy and Jim Cann, all of Pacoyma, California. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Roxanne Renee Lee; his parents, Kenneth and Nelda Lee; his parents-in0law: Cline and Aleine Robinson; his grandparents, Melva and Ralph Looke; his great-grandparents: Shirley and Edwin Jackson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11:00 in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Wednesday one hour prior to the services. Burial with military honors accorded by the Monroe American Legion Post #37 and the Utah Honor Guard will be in the Joseph Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funera lHome of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
