Rodney Miller

Manti, Utah - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Rodney Clement Miller, age 78, died March 10, 2010 at his home in Manti of complications from a stroke he suffered a week ago. He was born August 29, 1931 in Manti, a son of Lauritz Clement and Martha Laura Mickelson Miller. He graduated from Manti High School, Class of 1949. Rodney married Lily Jane Olsen, May 1, 1952 in the Manti LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church, serving faithfully in many different callings. He is survived by his loving wife, Lily Jane Miller of Manti; his children: Norma (Don, deceased) Lingwall of Manti; Elaine Miller of South Jordan; David and Sherrie Kaye Miller of Pennsylvania; Russell Miller of Manti; grandchildren: Shilo and Autry Duke of St. Louis, Missouri; Kristen and Danny Woodbury of ST. George; Meagan Miller of Provo and Desiree Miller of Pennsylvania; and 2 great-grandchildren; sister and brother: Marilyn Miller of Manti and Paul Miller of Bountiful. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 1 brother Morgan Miller. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 12 Noon in the Manti LDS Stake Cente, 295 South Main Street in Manti, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial with military honors accorded by the Manti American Legion Post #31 will be in the Manti City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
