Ron Davis

Joseph, Utah - Ronald L.(Ron) Davis, age 62, died August 26, 2005 at his home in Joseph after a valiant 18 month battle with biliary cancer. He was born September 4, 1942 in Monroe, Utah, a son of Lex T. and Amy Marion Norris Davis. He married Dianna McBride September 2, 1961 in Richfield, Utah. They were later divorced. He married Janice Bangerter April 25, 1997 in Bullhead City, Arizona. Ron graduated from Richfield High School, Class of 1961. He taught collision repair at Snow College Richfield. This was one of his loves and passions. Through this he was able to touch the lives of many people, both young and old alike. His other passion was his re-connection with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the potential for service that was provided through that connection. Ron was a member of the Richfield Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Ron is survived by his wife, Janice B. Davis of Joseph; a daughter, Rhonda (Brian) Hamilton of Evanston, Wyoming and a son, Tony (Chella) Davis of Vernal; 20 grandchildren; a sister, Merridee (Bob) Torgerson of Battle Mountain, NV; and two brothers, Merdell Davis of Richfield; Billie Rees (Teresa) Davis of Las Vegas, NV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lex and Amy Davis and two brothers, Kirk Davis and R.L. Davis. At his request, Ron’s remains were cremated and burial will take place at a later date.
