Richfield, Utah - Ronald Frank Drolc, age 82, died November 30, 2013 at his home in Richfield. He was born May 9, 1931 in Craig, Colorado, a son of Frank and Martha Timothy Drolc Jr. He married Georgie Anna Clark, January 17, 1950 in Craig, Colorado. Ron was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as High Priest Group Leader and in many, many callings his whole life. He was a lifetime member of the Lion's Club, Chairman of the Demolition Derby for ten years, the Kiwanis Club, served on the Independence Day Committee and on the Library Board. Ron enjoyed fishing, hunting, making bird houses and his grandkids. Ron was a master gardener and was always proud of his beautiful gardens. He is survived by his wife, Georgie, of Richfield; children: Gwen and Ken Searles of West Valley City; Beth and Brad Chadwick of Yuma, Arizona; Becky and Clark Knight, Jennifer and Chad Anderson, all of Richfield; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister: Marylou and James Terry of Craig, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Nicholas Lynn Knight; two sisters and one brother: Marva Rae Bruno, Betty Paletta and Bobbie Drolc. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Richfield 7th LDS Ward Chapel, 150 North 400 West in Richfield. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 P.M. or at the ward chapel, Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
