Ronald Kenneth Crane

Ronald K. Crane Salina, Utah - Ronald Kenneth Crane, age 69, passed away June 4, 2004 at his home in Salina. He was born May 20, 1935 in Salina, a son of Kenneth S. and Eunice Bjerregarrd Crane. He married Una Leila Hampton, March 5, 1955 in Redmond, Utah. Their married was solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple March 5, 1982. Ron was active in the LDS Church, serving in many positions. He was a member of the Salina Jaycee’s and Salina Lion’s Club. He served on the Salina City Council for two terms. Ron was also a member of the ATHS and Antique Tractor Association. He retired from Canyon Fuel Company in 1999 due to health problems. Ron enjoyed visiting the Robinson Truck for View Museum in Salina almost every day. He is survived by his wife of Salina; children: Craig and Melonie Crane of Nashville, Tennessee; Brent and Traci Crane of Ridgecrest, California; Melonie and Justin Olsen of Gunnison; Daloris Crane of Salina; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, LaMar and Esie Crane of Green River, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by a son, Russell Crane, January 4, 2004 and a granddaughter, Jenn. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 10, 2004 at 12 Noon in the Salina LDS Stake Center, 98 West 400 North. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and at the stake center Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
