Midwest City, Oklahoma - Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Rose Marie Watters Lee, age 76, died February 12, 2011 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She was born July 11, 1934 in Beaver, Utah, a daughter of Berl Elijah and Lodema Rose Watters. She married Vernon Pollard Lee, April 8, 1953 in Richfield, Utah. After they married, they moved to New Jersey, and then back to Richfield; and then to New Mexico, and then back to Richfield. They settled in Grand Junction, Colorado, for a while and then moved to Huntsville, Alabama and finally to Midwest City, Oklahoma. Thus she was aptly nick named Gypsy Rose Lee!!! She enjoyed needlepoint and doing hook rugs, and puzzle books, but most of all she enjoyed raising her children and being with her family. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of Midwest City, Oklahoma; children: Andrew H. Lee and Louis K. Lee, both of Huntsville, Alabama; Susan Marie and Tim Batton of Midwest City, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters: June Watters, Margaret Poulson, Berniece Rasmussen, Betty Carmichael, Edward Watters, Bill Watters, Monty Watters, Lucinda Patterson and Dora Thompson. Grave side services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Richfield City Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Saturday morning from 12 Noon to 1:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
