Rula T. Turner Lyman, Utah - Our wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Rula Taylor Turner, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2003 in Salt Lake City, Utah, as the result of a fall at her home in Lyman. She was born September 30, 1922 in Fremont, Utah, a daughter of Robert Allen and Myrtle Elizabeth Peterson Taylor. She married her high school sweetheart, James Mark Turner, June 26, 1942 in the Manti LDS Temple. Rula was an active member of the LDS Church and served compassionately and faithfully in many capacities. Service to others brought her great joy and happiness. She found great satisfaction in her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she thought that each one was perfect!!! She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Mark of Lyman; daugthers: Marla (Bruce) Brinkerhoff, Kaysville; Linda (Ron) Smith, Sandy; Sharon (Richard) Jackson, Midvale; Rosalie (Richard) Hunt, Sandy; Jeanie Potter, American Fork; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters: Allen (Louise) Taylor of West Valley City; Thora Kammeyer of Richfield, Alta Albrecht of Fremont, Marjorie Ainsworth of Richfield, Shirley Oldroyd of Loa, Betty (Dean) Anderson of Kearns and Bobbie (Keith) Hooper of Richfield. She was preceded in death by her parents and younger sister, Nadine Hatch. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 14, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. in the Loa LDS Stake Center. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and Friday at the Stake Center in Loa from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Lyman Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Utah Chapter, Washington Building, 5600 South 151 East, Suite 210, Murray, UT. 84107 (801) 281-1886
