Russell M. Jensen

Centerfield, Utah - Russell M. Jensen, age 71, of Centerfield, passed away August 21, 2018 in Gunnison. He was born October 22, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Ivan James and Madge Buchanan Jensen. He served his country during the Viet Nam Crisis in the US Army 25 Infantry Saigon. He retired from the Utah National Guard. Russell was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an avid elk hunter and loved to go fishing any time or any place. He will be missed. Russell is survived by his son, Roland Ivan Jensen of Phoenix, Arizona; siblings: Mardy and Karen Jensen of Centerfield; Venna and Russell Dreshek of Oconto, Wisconsin; Sherry Ann Claire of Sandy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ivan J. and Madge; a brother, LaMaun Jensen; and a brother-in-law: John Claire. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Centerfield Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Centerfield American Legion Post #105 and the Utah Honor Guard, under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
