Ryleigh Mckenzie Island

Las Vegas, Nevada/Richfield, Utah - Our beloved daughter, granddaughter, cousin, niece and friend, Ryleigh McKenzie Island, age 9, of Las Vegas, Nevada, returned home to Her Heavenly Father on August 10, 2016 at her home in Las Vegas, of complications from a fall. Ryleigh was born July 4, 2007 in Payson, Utah, a daughter of Kendra Paulette Hatch. She loved being called by nicknames. Kendra, her mother called her my Ya-ya and Ladybug; Auntie Mylynda called her Kitten; and the family called her Ry and Kenzie. Ryleigh was a big fan of Monster High and My Little Pony. She loved to ride her bike and do her hair and everyone else's, especially her Grandma and Pappa's. She loved music and considered all her favorite songs her "jams." She loved to draw, color and read. Above all, Ryleigh loved playing with her cousins, especially her "twins". Ryleigh is survived by her wonderful mother, Kendra Paulette Hatch; her "other" mother, Auntie Mylynda Hatch; her Grandma Karen LaRee Johnson Hatch; her Pappa Grandpa Gilbert Dale Hatch; her two cousins, her twins, Amari Hatch and Aliya Hatch. She is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. "A moment in my arms, Forever in my heart". Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, Utah, where friends may call for viewing from 9:00 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
