Sandra Baldwin

Monroe, Utah - Sandra Jeanne Wagnon Baldwin, age 76, of Monroe, was born on June 5, 1939 in Santa Cruz, California, a daughter of Fox Wagnon and Margaret Dietz Wagnon. She left this earth on December 30, 2015 at her home in Monroe, Utah. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Adoniram Baldwin, her one and only true love, whom she married on February 15th, 1959 in Hollywood, California. She leaves a legacy of 5 Children, Philip, Stephen, Paul, Nathanael and Joanna; 13 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Late in life Sandra made up her mind to go back to school and earn her degree in Early Childhood Education. She enjoyed working as a substitute teacher for many years in Angels Camp, California and the surrounding areas. Sandra was an avid reader, a patron of the arts and a lover of music. She was an amateur writer and was recently honored by the Sevier Valley Chapter of the League of Utah Writers. Throughout her life Sandra, alongside her husband Daniel, served as a missionary in Guatemala, Belize, and Thailand. At a very young age Sandra made her decision to serve God in word and deed. She never faltered in this decision. Her life is an excellent example of strength, patience, dedication and faithfulness. “Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also and he praiseth her.” Proverbs 31:28 Sandra will be laid to rest in a graveside service officiated by Rev. Nancy Hove, held at Monroe City Cemetery 780 N Washburnville rd, Monroe Utah 84754, on Saturday January 9th, 2016 at 10:00 am. Reception for friends and family to follow at Valley Presbyterian Church in Richfield at 1:00 pm. Services under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
