Sandra Kay Jones

Sandra Kay Winchell Jones, age 61, passed away January 15, 2020 at her home in Richfield. She was born April 29, 1958 in Nelsonville, Ohio, a daughter of Marvin Marcel and Juanita Smith Winchell. She married Wilbur Gene “Bill” Jones December 20, 1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on August 17, 2016. Sandra was a volunteer at the Food Bank and with Toys For Tots in Sevier and Wayne Counties. She enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family and hanging out with them. She loved the holidays because it brought everyone together. She always smiled and never judged. She was very forgiving, even when her oldest son was a shit for a little while. She was loving, caring and really, really loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She will be deeply missed. Sandra is survived by her children: William Winchell of Sevier, Jennifer Winchell of Austin, Kenny and Trina Winchell of Richfield; numerous grandkids and great-grandkids. Private family services were held. At her request, her remains will be cremated and burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
