Sharon Godwin-Fox

Central Valley, Utah - Our beloved wife, sister and aunt, Sharon Lee Godwin-Fox, age 71, passed away at her home in Central Valley on November 6, 2015, of a heart attack. She was born March 10, 1944 in Inglewood, California, a daughter of James Roy and Helen Katherene Wheeler Godwin. She graduated from El Segundo High School, Class of 1962. She received her Master's Degree at Fresno State College and did her graduated work at Fresno State. Sharon married Gary Orville Fox, January 1, 1994 in Bullhead City, Arizona. Their marriage was solemnized in the Payson LDs Temple, July 8, 2015. Sharon was active in the LDS Church, serving in the Relief Society. She was involved in the rehabilitation of addicted and abused children and worked in the system for 20 years. Sharon loved her German Shepherd dogs and enjoyed being in the outdoors. She enjoyed hiking, cross country skiing and riding motorcycles. She never missed an opportunity to share her testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and her love of the Savior. Sharon is very much loved, missed and needed by her husband and best friend, Gary. She is survived by her loving husband, Gary, of Central Valley; sister and brother: Vivian (Dick Barnes) Rehm of Elsinore; William Godwin of Corpus Christi, Texas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Central Valley 1st LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or at the church in Central Valley, Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Central Valley Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
